John Ross Bowie was born in New York City, New York, in the United States of America on May 30, 1971. He is a writer as well as an actor, and perhaps the role of Barry Kripke, which he plays on the hit CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, has brought him the most notoriety. In addition to that, he was cast in recurrent roles on Adult Swim's Children's Hospital and Showtime's Episodes, and he went on to star in the ABC series Speechless. Early in his career, he had a small part in the film Road Trip, which was directed by Tom Green and released in the year 2000. In addition to that, you may have seen him in the film What the Bleep Do We Know, which was released in 2004, and starred Marlee Matlin.
