American singer and guitarist Johnny McGuire was born on June 8th, 1989 in Kansas. Walker McGuire, a country music duet that gained notoriety in 2016 with the release of their first song "Til Tomorrow". After being included on Spotify's "New Boots" playlist, the song gained widespread popularity and received close to 20 million plays. He and another member of his band were included in 2017's "10 New Country Artists You Need to Know" list by Rolling Stone. He pays homage to legendary country singer Willie Nelson in his song "Who Willie Is." McGuire signed with the BBR Music Group, and in September 2019 he released his first EP, Neon Nights. He collaborated with fellow Kentucky native Billy Ray Cyrus at the same time on the song "Chevys and Fords." Hardy wrote the song "I Can't Even" for Neon Nights, which McGuire pulled as his first solo single in March 2020.
