Johnny Simmons is an actor born on 28th November 1986 in Montgomery, Alabama. He is best known for appearing as Peter Newsmans in the 2016 romantic comedy-drama film “The Late Bloomer”. He started his career in 2004 with the short film “Then Hereafter” as Young Eric. In 2009, he appeared in the family comedy film “Hotel for Dogs” alongside Emma Roberts, Kyla Pratt, and Lisa Kudrow. In 2016, he appeared in the thriller film “Transpecos” alongside Clifton Collins Jr.
Simmons made his television debut in 2006, he appeared in an episode of the crime drama television series “Numbers as Matt McCrary. In 2011, he starred in the television film “Cinema Verite” as Kevin Loud. Three years later, he appeared in 6 episodes of the miniseries “Klondike” alongside Abbie Cornish and Marton Csokas. In 2017, he played the main role of Shane in the comedy television series “Girlboss”.
