Jonathan David Buck, better known as Jon B., was born on November 11, 1974 in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a singer, songwriter and record producer. His musical genres include R&B, urban and soul. He has worked with other artists such as Babyface, 2Pac, Scarface, Nas, Faith Evans, Paul Wall, Beenie Man, and Snoop Dogg.
He has won and been nominated for countless awards including a 1995 Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for “Someone to Love”, a 1998 Billboard Music Award for Top R&B Artist, a 1998 Billboard Music Award for Top R&B Artists – Male, a 1998 Billboard Music Award for Top Hot R&B Single for “They Don’t Know/Are U Still Down”, and a 1998 Soul Train Music Award for Best Male Single for “They Don’t Know/Are U Still Down.”
