Jonathan Kolia Favreau was born on October 19, 1966, on Flushing New York City. He worked as the co-producer of Swingers in 1996, Dinner for Five and Revolution. He was also the executive producer of the pilot episode of Young Sheldon. He directed Iron Man and Iron Man 2, and he was the executive producer of Iron Man 3. He also served as the executive producer of The Avengers (2012) Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and the untitled Avengers film for release in 2019.
He was the director of The Jungle Book in 2016 and will be involved in Jungle Book 2 in the same capacity. He also directed the Lion King which is in post-production. His latest television project is The Mandalorian which is currently filming.
