Jon Sopel Bio
Jon Sopel is a British journalist and BBC's North America editor. Before he started reporting on storms and American elections, he spent a substantial chunk of his career as one of the most prominent news anchors in London. During the time, he was a guest on several television programmes, including the BBC News Channel's “The Politics Show” and “Global with Jon Sopel.” In addition, Jon has presented on important events from a variety of locales all over the world. He has done this while he was in Rome for the installation of the new Pope, while he was in South Africa for the funeral of Nelson Mandela, and while he was in numerous war zones like the Middle East, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
