Jonathan Capehart is a TV personality and journalist born on 2nd July 1967 in New Jersey, United States. After graduating, he joined NBC’s news and morning TV talk show “The Today Show” as a researcher. He later joined the New York Daily News as a member of the editorial board, becoming the youngest person ever to be a board member. He worked there from 1993 to 2000. His impressive performance in that position earned him the 1999 Pulitzer Prize for Best Editorial writing.
He also worked for Bloomberg, serving as a speechwriter and advisor for Michael Bloomberg, who vied for the New York City Mayor position in 2001. Between 2001 and 2004, he worked as the deputy editor of New York Daily News. He has been serving as a member of the editorial board for The Washington post since 2007, and he regularly contributes to the MSNBC TV channel.
