Jonathan David & Melissa Helser Bio
Jonathan David & Melissa Helser are an American Christian duo composed of husband and wife Jonathan David Helser and Melissa Philipps Helser, and based in Sophia, North Carolina. They started recording music together and their debut album “The Awakening” was released in 2005. They released eight more albums until 2020, including “Endless Ocean, Bottomless Sea” in 2014 alongside Bethel Music label. In 2015, the duo released their second album on the label, called “On the Shore”. In 2016, they released the studio album “Beautiful Surrender” which peaked at number 54 on the Billboard 200, besides reaching number 67 on the Canadian Albums Charts, and peaking at number one in the US Christian Chart. Their most popular singles are “No Longer Slaves” which peaked at number 19 on the U.S. Christian Chart, and “Raise a Hallelujah” which reached number 2 on the US Christian Chart.
