Jonathan Taylor Thomas is an American actor, voice actor, and director born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on September 8, 1981. He is best known for his role on the show Home Improvement and for voicing the young Simba in The Lion King. He started his career in acting in 1990 after landing a role on the television show The Bradys. He has also been in the shows In Living Color, Home Improvement, Ally McBeal, Smallville, 8 Simple Rules, Veronica Mars, and Last Man Standing. He has voiced characters in the animated shows The Simpsons, The Wild Thornberrys, The Oz Kids, The Itsy Bitsy Spider and The Adventures of Spot. He made his debut in a live-action film in 1995 in the movie Man of The House and has had roles in films like Wild America, I Woke Up Early the Day I Died, Common Ground, Speedway Junky and others. He has voiced characters in the films The Lion King, Pom Poko, The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Tangerine Bear, and Thru the Moebius Strip. Throughout his career he has been nominated for numerous awards and has won two Young Artist Awards, two Kids’ Choice Awards and a ShoWest Convention Award.
