Jordan Clarkson Bio
Jordan Taylor Clarkson is a Filipino-American basketball player, born June 7, 1992. He currently plays for the NBA team Utah Jazz. Clarkson was drafted in 2014 from the University of Missouri by the Washington Wizards and was instantly traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, that were at the time trying to rebuild their team with young talent. Clarkson was a part of a young LA core that included future NBA stars like Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle, Nick Young, along with Kobe Bryant in his decline. Individually, Clarkson showed immense talent with the Lakers, as he was selected to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in his first year. However, as most of the 2014-2018 young Lakers, he didn't find the appropriate role. In 2018, he became a Cleveland Cavalier, where he played alongside LeBron James. Clarkson is one of the rare players that got to play with both Kobe and LeBron as their teammate and mentor. In 2019, Jordan Clarkson joined Utah Jazz. He's had the biggest success in Salt Lake City, where he was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2021.
