The psychologist and author, Jordan Bernt Peterson was born on 12 June 1962, in Edmonton, Canada. Even if he has done a lot of things in different disciplines, he is more known for his work as a psychologist researcher. He studied political science and psychology at the University of Alberta and graduated in 1982 and 1984, respectively. In 1991 he earned his PhD in clinical physiology and has a postdoctoral fellow in 1993. Right after he started to teach as an assistant professor at Harvard University but came back to Canada in 1998 to teach at the University of Toronto. In 2008 he took a break as a teacher. He published the book 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos in 2018, which became right after a bestseller and translated into 50 languages. With his students, he has published several scientific papers as well.
