Jordin Sparks is an American singer, songwriter and actress who burst into the public eye on American Idol (2007), which she won at age seventeen. In 2007, her self-titled debut album earned platinum status, and featured the top-ten singles, ‘Tattoo,’ and ‘No Air,’ which became the third-highest selling single by any American Idol contestant. ‘No Air,’ earned Sparks a Grammy Award nomination in 2008. She has appeared on Broadway’s In the Heights (2010), and in the musical, Sparkle (2012). She has released three perfumes, and continues to churn out hits, including ‘Battlefield,’ ‘I Am Woman,’ and ‘Double Tap (featuring 2 Chainz).’
