Jorge Garcia Bio
Jorge Garcia is an American actor and comedian born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 28, 1973. He is best known for his role as Hugo Reyes in the television show Lost. Garcia studied acting at the Beverly Hill Playhouse acting school. He started his acting career doing television commercials. In 1997 he made his debut in film in the movie Raven’s Revenge and continued landing roles in the films Tomorrow by Midnight, King of the Open Mics, Little Athens, Deck the Halls, Maktub, Cooties, The Wedding Ringer, The Healer, Get a Job, Rock Dog and more. He made his debut on television in 2000 in the show The Wild Thornberrys and has since had roles in the shows Spin City, Cloumbo, Rock Me Baby, Becker, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, Fringe, Alcatraz, Californication, BoJack Horseman and others. Garcia also performs as a stand-up comedian. Throughout his career he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won two ALMA Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Gold Derby Award.
