Jose Iglesias is a professional baseball player who, at the time of writing this bio, was a free agent. Born on 5th January 1990 in Havana, Cuba, Iglesias started his career with La Habana which competes in the Cuban National Series. He made his major league debut with the Boston Red Sox on 8th May 2011, coming on as a substitute in a win over Minnesota Twins. On 30th July 2013, he was traded to Detroit Tigers. He went on to have an impressive stint with the Tigers before joining Cincinnati Reds on 23rd February 2019.
In January 2020, he signed a one-year contract with Baltimore Orioles. The contract included an option for another year. His debut with the Orioles against the Boston Red Sox on the Opening Day. On 1st November, he joined Los Angeles Angels. He went on to play 114 games for the Angels and was released on 3rd September 2021. On 6th September, he joined Boston Red Sox. In March 2022, he joined Colorado Rockies on a one-year deal.
