Joseph Daniel Turner Mawle, known as Joseph Mawle, is an English actor best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on March 21, 1974.
Joseph began his acting career in 1998 when he appeared in the TV mini-series Merlin. He has since had recurring roles in the TV series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, MotherFatherSon, Troy: Fall of a City, Ripper Street, The Tunnel, Five Daughters, and Sir Gadabout, the Worst Knight in the Land, but he is best known for starring in the action-drama series Game of Thrones alongside Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, and Lena Headey. Joseph’s filmography includes In the Heart of the Sea, The Cold Light of Day, The Awakening, Half of a Yellow Sun, and The Hallow.
He received a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
