Josh Gracin is an American country music singer and musician born in Westland, Michigan on October 18, 1980. He became well known after coming in fourth place on the second season of American Idol. While in high school, Gracin won the vocal competition to become part of the Fairlane Youth Pops Orchestra. At 16 years old he performed at the Grand Ole Opry in a talent show and recorded a demo CD in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2003 he auditioned to be on the talent competition show American Idol and came in fourth on the show. Gracin signed a record deal with Lyric Street Records in 2004 and released his debut album self-titled Josh Gracin. The album charted at number 2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and number 11 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and was certified gold. He has since released the albums We Weren’t Crazy and Redemption. Gracin has also released the EP Nothin’ Like Us: Pt. 1 in 2017.
