Josh O’Connor Bio

Josh O’Connor is an actor born on 20th May 1990 in Southampton, Hampshire, England. He is widely recognized for playing Princes Charles in the Netflix drama series “The Crown” between 2019 and 2020. He started his career in 2011 with the short film “Michael Myers in Love”. The following year, he played Zombie in the film “The Eschatrilogy: Book of the Dead”. He went on to appear in the films “Hide and Seek”, “The Riot”, “Bridgend”, “The Program”, “Florence Foster Jenkins”, Hope Gape”, “Challengers”, and others.

O’Connor made his television debut in 2012 with the detective drama series “Lewis”. The following year, he appeared in four series: “Doctor Who”, “Law & Order: UK”, “The Wipers Times”, and “London Irish”. In 2014, he played James in 3 episodes of “Peaky Blinders” and PC Bobby Grace in 8 episodes of “Ripper Street”. From 2016 to 2019, he played Lawrence Durrell in the comedy-drama series “The Durrells”.
