Josh Pyke is an Australian Indie and pop-rock singer-songwriter born in Sydney, Australia, in 1977. He made his debut in 2005 with the compilatory "Recordings 2003-2005." This album provided his two first hit singles, charting high on Triple J's station Hottest 100 poll list. Later that year, Pyke signed a contract with Ivy League records and issued the full-length album "Feeding the Wolves" shortly after. The album was nominated for an ARIA award and led the artist to began collaborations with artists like Wayne Connolly, Chris Joannou, and Matt Lovell. Pyke toured Australia extensively and then released "Memories & Dust," which also became successful in the U.K. Pyke followed up with "Chimney's Afire" in 2008, produced by Wayne Connolly, and released two more albums between 2009 and 2012.
