Josh Radnor, born as Joshua Thomas Radnor, is an American filmmaker, actor, musician, and writer from Columbus, Ohio. He is best known for playing the lead role in a popular situational comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother’, which aired on CBS in 2005. Josh’s character Ted Mosby became extremely popular among the audience and gained him massive fame and recognition. Radnor however, was first seen on screen in an episode of ‘Welcome to New York’ in the year 2000 and made his theatrical debut with the on-stage adaptation of ‘The Graduate’ in 2002. He was also seen playing comparatively smaller roles in shows like ‘Law and Order’, ‘Judging Mary’, ‘The Court’ and ‘Six Feet Under’. His directorial and writing debut was with the 2010 film called ‘Happythankyoumoreplease’ for which he won the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award. His next work as a writer-director was ‘Liberal Arts’, released in 2012.
