Josh Taerk is a Canadian folk rock singer. He was born in 1991 in Toronto, Canada. His love for music started at an early age and he began playing instruments- mainly guitar- and singing as a teenager. In 2011, he was selected to play at the Aspen Songwriters Festival where he met his mentor John Oates, who introduced him to his future producer Teddy Morgan, who is the songwriter and band member of Modern West. He released his debut EP “Stages” in 2017, gaining positive critics and recognition. The single “Anywhere Love Took Us” featured on the EP was streamed over 110 000 on Spotify. He toured all over North America during that year opening for Modern West, Jon McLaughlin and The Weeks. His debut album “Here’s To Change” was chosen as one of the top 25 albums of the year.
