JOY. Bio
JOY. is the stage name of the Australian singer, songwriter, musician, and producer Olivia McCarthy. She was born in Brisbane Australia in 1998. McCarthy is signed with the label Song Music Australia. She was discovered through Triple J Unearthed. She has been a supporting artist for Tkay Maidza in 2015 and Demi Lovato in Europe in 2018. In 2014 she released her debut single titled “Captured” and has since released the singles “Stone”, “Weather”, “Like Home”, “Smoke Too Much”, and “Change.” She released her debut EP in 2015 titled ODE. In 2018 she released her second EP titled SIX. JOY. has been a featured artist on the songs “My Favourite Downfall” by 360, “Lone” by What So Not, “Touchdown” by Manu Crooks, and “Stormy Love” by ZHU.
