Jocelyn Donald, better known as Jozzy, is a singer and songwriter born on January 25, 1991, in Memphis, Tennessee. She grew up in a musical family and wrote her first song when she was 11.
She started her journey behind the scenes, writing music for some of the biggest names in the music world. Her first big break came when she was connected to Timbaland and worked with him on a few tracks. This led her to write songs for the likes of Beyoncé, Missy Elliot, Usher, and Chris Brown. In 2018, she collaborated with Diplo to create Live It Up, which became the official song for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. In 2019, she wrote Billy Ray Cyrus’s verse on Lil Nas X’s hit song, Old Town Road. Jozzy has also released songs under her own name. In 2018, she released her first single, Push Thru.
