JP Cooper was born on November 2, 1983 in Middleton, Greater Manchester, England. He was born with the given name John Paul Cooper. He is a singer and songwriter for Island Records. He initially thought he would go into some sort of sports career, but then he discovered he loved playing guitar. He was employed at a bar when he began his career, and he now has five EPs: EP1, EP2, EP3, Keep the Quiet Out, and When the Darkness Comes. He has one studio album, released in 2017, called, Raised Under Grey Skies. His singles include: “Five More Days”, “Party”, “September Song”, “Passport Home”, “She’s on My Mind”, “Wait”, and “Momma’s Prayers”. He has collaborated on the songs: “The Artist Inside”, “Shivers”, and “Perfect Strangers”.
