Juan Pablo Villamil Bio
Juan Pablo Villamil (born September 1, 1994 in Colombia) is a vocalist and guitarist, best known as a member of the Colombian pop group Morat. He is also known for Beret & Morat: Porfa no te vayas (2021), Aitana: Ni una más (2021) and Morat & Juanes: 506 (2022). Juan is the son of Mauricio Villamil and Clemencia Cortes.
His band gained immediatw recognition following the release of their debut album, Sobre el Amor y Sus Efectos Secundarios (2016). The album was certified double platinum. Prior too the band's formation, Juan met the other members of Morat while studying at Gimnasio La Montaña in Bogota, Colombia. He has collaborated with popular artists, including Paulina Rubio, Carlos Baute, and Alejandro Fernández.
In June 2019, he posted a picture with renowned soccer player and entrepreneur David Beckham on his jpvillamil7 Instagram account. He has also shared the stage with Simon Vargas as a member of Morat.
