Claire Jude Demorest is an award-winning American actress, singer, and songwriter best known for her roles in Dallas and Star's television series. She was born and bred in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, on March 11, 1992.
Born into a religious family where she attended church almost every day, Demorest learned to sing and act through her involvement in the choir. As she got older in the church, she began to see her future in the movie industry.
At 16, she relocated from Michigan to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. In her first couple of years searching for a job, she met several disappointments. Eventually, she signed with Epic Records under producer L.A. Reid after attempting everything from backup dancing to singing.
She began her career in minor roles as extras and background dancers in various shows and films before landing a role in the 2009 short History of Made Up Things. Since that performance, Demorest has acted in several other blockbusters, alongside other great actors like Shemar Moore and Nadine Velazquez.
