Judy Reyes is an American actress, director, producer, and model best known for her work in film and television. She was born in The Bronx, New York, United States, on November 5, 1967.
Judy began her acting career in 1992 when she appeared in an episode of the TV series Law & Order. She has since had recurring roles in the TV series Claws, Devious Maids, Third Watch, Oz, Succession, Dirty John, and One Day at a Time, but she is best known for starring in the comedy-drama series Scrubs alongside Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, and John C. McGinley. Judy’s filmography includes Washington Heights, Gun Hill Road, All Together Now, Girl Flu, Glow Ropes: The Rise and Fall of a Bar Mitzvah Emcee, and Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story.
Judy won an Imagen Foundation Award for Best Actress - Drama (Television).
