JuJu Smith-Schuster is an American professional football player born in Long Beach, California on November 22, 1996. He is currently a wide receiver and return specialist for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He played football in high school at Long Beach Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, California for the Jackrabbits. He went on to play college football the University of Southern California from 2014 to 2016. In 2017 he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round, 62nd overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year contract with the Steelers for $4.19 million with $1.84 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $1.19 million. He made his NFL debut in the Steelers season-opener against the Cleveland Browns and at the time of his debut was the youngest player in the NFL. Throughout his career he has recorded 169 receptions, 2,343 receiving yards, 240 return yards, and 14 total touchdowns. He also holds several NFL records, including the first player in NFL history to score five touchdowns before his 21st birthday, youngest receiver with 1,500 receiving yards, and others.
