Julia Fordham is a British singer and songwriter who has been a musician since the start of her career in 1988, which is when she was first signed on to Virgin/Circa Records. Her debut album, named “Julia Fordham” after herself, reached the number 20 position in the UK charts and number 1 in Japanese charts, as well as platinum sales. Her 1989 follow up album “Porcelain” is what she is best known for today, charting in the UK, Japan and the US and Europe. Some of the tracks include “Porcelain”, “Girlfriend” and “Lock And Key”. Since then, Fordham has remastered or released 15 new albums. Fordham was born on the 10th of August of 1962 in Portsmouth, England.
