Julia Schlaepfer is an American actress, born on March 3, 1995, in Bellevue, Washington. She is best known for playing Alice Charles on the Netflix original series, The Politician, alongside Ben Platt and Zoey Deutch. She is also known for having starred as Alexandra on the Paramount+ Western television series, 1923, and Sandra Good in the film Charlie Says. Julia was a ballerina with the Pacific Northwest Ballet for 12 years before starting her acting career. Her first role on television was in the 2017 series Madam Secretary with Téa Leoni and Tim Daly. She went on to appear in Instinct with Alan Cumming and American Horror Stories with Sierra McCormick and Paris Jackson. Julia Schlaepfer attended Lakeside High School in Seattle and later graduated from the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School at New York University in 2017.
