Julian Baumgartner is an American YouTube Star. Born on July 24, 1980, Julian rose to fame from his YouTube channel, “Baumgartner Restorations”, where he uploads videos regarding fine art restoration. He did his graduation from Purchase College, SUNY, where he pursued painting and printing. He eventually became a fine art conservation trainee. Baumgartner's career began as an established Fine Art Restorer. Juian’s father, a renowned restorer, R. Agassi Baumgartner, established his fine painting studio in Chicago. Julian took over the operation of the studio after Agass died in 2011. Julian started the studio's YouTube channel on July 27, 2016, to help promote the studio and art conservation. In January 2019, Mashable named Baumgartner the most popular art conservationist on YouTube. He posted a viral YouTube video named "Norman Rockwell - Case of The Missing Inscription" in December 2020. Baumgartner Restoration is also a member of the American Institute for Conservation.
