Julian Peter McDonald Clary, known as Julian Clary, is an English actor, comedian, TV personality, and author best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Surbiton, Surrey, England, on May 25, 1959. Julian began his acting career in 1987 when he was cast in the TV series Saturday Live. He has since had recurring roles in the TV series Terry and Julian and Little Princess, and as a TV personality, he is a regular on the TV shows Loose Women, Countdown, Lorraine, This Morning, Big Brother's Bit on the Side, Your Face Sounds Familiar, Celebrity Big Brother, Strictly Come Dancing, and It's Only TV... But I Like It. He is best known for starring in the action-comedy film Carry on Columbus alongside Jim Dale, Bernard Cribbins, Maureen Lipman, and Holly Aird. Julian has written the books Murder Most Fab, Devil in Disguise, Briefs Encountered, and the children's book series, The Bolds.
