Born in Santa Rosa, California, United States, on December 25, 1987, Julian Lage is an American guitarist and composer who performs jazz music.
Julian was a child prodigy guitarist, and he became famous at the age of twelve when he performed at the Grammy Awards. He went on to train at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Sonoma State University, Ali Akbar College of Music, and the Berklee College of Music. After playing with musical artists like Gary Burton, he released his debut studio project Sounding Point in 2009. His discography includes the hit singles Nocturne, Day and Age, Etude, Crying, Tributary, Auditorium, and the albums View With A Room, Modern Lore, and Free Flying.
Julian’s music was featured in the album Jazz Noir alongside fellow musical artists Diana Krall, Melody Gardot, Norah Jones, and Gregory Porter.
