Julie Bowen is an American actress and model born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 3, 1970. She is best known for her roles in the shows Dawson’s Creek, Ed, Boston Legal, Lost, and Modern Family. In 1992 she made her debut on television in the show Loving and continued landing roles in the shows Class of 96’, Extreme, Party of Five, Strange Luck, ER, Ed, Oh Baby, Justice League, Boston Legal, Lost, Jake in Progress, Weed, Monk, Modern Family, Better Things, The Mindy Project, DuckTales, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Wainy Days and others. She made her debut in film in 1996 in the movie Confessions of a Sleep Addict and has since had roles in the film Happy Gilmore, An American Werewolf in Paris, You’re Killing Me, Joe Somebody, Kids in America, Jumping the Broom, Horrible Bosses, Knife Fight, Life of the Party and more. Throughout her career she has been nominated for a number of awards and has won four Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Critics’ Choice Television Award.
