Julie Byrne is a singer and songwriter born in 1990 in Buffalo, New York, United States. She is best known for releasing the hit album “The Greater Wings”. Her passion and love for music began at a very young age. However, it was not until the age of 17 that she started playing music. At the age of 18, she left home and moved to Chicago, where she enrolled in college but later dropped out. She would later start recording music.
She dropped her first album, “Rooms with Walls & Windows”, which was a compilation of cassette-only EPs. The album was released by the independent label Orindal in 2014. She later relocated to her childhood home, Buffalo, where she recorded her sophomore album “Not Even Happiness” with producer Eric Littman and Jake Falby. The album, which was released by Ba Da Bing Records in 2017, was critically acclaimed.
