Juliette Binoche is an award-winning French actress, artist, and dancer who is best known for her work in film. She was born in Paris, France, on March 9, 1964. Juliette began her acting career in the mid-'80s with appearances in the films Liberty Belle, Hail Mary, and Les Nanas, but she became a household name in the ‘90s with starring roles in the films The English Patient and Damage. Juliette starred in the blockbuster films Chocolat, Dan in Real Life, and Ghost in the Shell. She played the character Sandra Brody in the 2014 adventure film Godzilla which she starred in alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, and Ken Wantanabe. Juliette has won numerous awards including an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, a BAFTA Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, and Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival.
