July Talk Bio
July Talk is a Toronto, Ontario-based alternative rock band that started in 2012. Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay, guitarist Ian Docherty, bassist Josh Warburton, and drummer Danny Miles make up the band. July Talk's self-titled debut album was published on Sleepless Records on October 16, 2012, and its second album Touch was released on September 9, 2016.
After seeing Leah Fay sing with the art/folk group Mothers of Brides at Toronto's Communist's Daughter in 2010, Latvian-Canadian singer Peter Dreimanis approached her.
Dreimanis had recently returned to the city from a European tour with Eamon McGrath and The Mohawk Lodge. Dreimanis and Fay started recording demos together, and July Talk was founded with Josh Warburton, Danny Miles, and Eamon McGrath.
