Junichi Okada is a Japanese actor and former boy band member best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Hirakata, Osaka, Japan, on November 18, 1980.
Junichi began his acting career in 1997 when he appeared in the TV series DxD: Dangerous Angel x Death Hunter, and he has since had recurring roles in the TV series Oyaji, Kisarazu Cat's Eye, Suekko Chounan Ane Sannin, Tiger & Dragon, SP: Keishichô keibibu keigoka dauyonkakari, The Big White Tower, and Gunshi Kanbee. Junichi’s filmography now includes Hell Dogs, Tales From Earthsea, Kisarazu Cat's Eye: Nihon Series, Tenchi Meisatsu, The Eternal Zero, The Fable, and From Up on Poppy Hill (Kokuriko-zaka kara), which also features Sarah Bolger, Chris Noth, Christina Hendricks, and Anton Yelchin.
From 1995 to 2001, he was a member of the Japanese boy band V6.
