The Junior Boys are an Ontario, Canada based band with an electronic indie-pop style, created in 1999. The Junior boys were originally a duo with and Jeremy Greenspan and Johnny Dark. Their musical influences include disco, synthesized-pop and techno. Their first demo was a flop, despite the effort put into it. Johnny Dark left the band to go his own way and Matt Dynamis joined together with Greenspan and the two recorded a full length album, Last Exit in 2003 which included singles ‘Birthday’ and ‘High Come Down’. The pair continued adding to their album lineup with So This is Good-bye in 2006 and Begone Dull Care in 2009. They created a mix album Body Language Volume 6 which included artist Matthew Dear, Kelly Fuller and Dark’s Stereo Image in 2011. The album It’s All True was released, being there most playful album, including track ‘Banana Republic’ and was remixed by The Field. 2016 saw the album Big Black Coat release which included a cover of Bobby Caldwell’s classic ‘What You Won’t Do For Love.’
