Junior Sanchez is the stage name of the American record producer, DJ, remixer, and record executive Eugenio Sanchez Jr. He was born in Belleville, New Jersey on May 4, 1977. Sanchez started working in the music industry at a young age and by 17 years old he became A&R for the independent New Jersey label Rufftrax. He also had his own label named Cube Recordings. He has released music under a number of stage names, including, The Controllers, S-Men, Da Mongoloids, Dark Heads, Subspecies and more. Sanchez has had writing collaborations with a number of big name artists like Katy Perry, Crookers, Azealia Banks, Good Charlotte, Bush, Bryce Wilson, Green Velvet and others. He has also produced music and made official remixes for the artists and bands Ariana Grande, Daft Punk, The Faint, Moving Units, Gorillaz, Hot Hot Heat, New Order, Giorgio Moroder, Shakira, Good Charlotte and more.
