Justin Lin Bio
Justin Lin is a Taiwanese-American director, producer, and writer who is best known for his production and directing on the Fast and Furious film series. He was born in Taipei, Taiwan, on October 11, 1971. He began his career in 1997 when wrote and co-directed the film Shopping for Fangs. He joined the Fast and Furious film franchise in 2006 with the film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. He directed the highest-grossing film in the series Fast & Furious 6 which features Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster. Justin has also been a part of the films Star Trek Beyond, Space Jam: A New Legacy, and Annapolis. He won a CinemaCon Award for Director of the Year, a Gold Derby Award for Comedy Episode of the Year, and a Visionary Award at the San Diego Film Festival. Justin was the executive producer on the TV series Scorpion, Warrior, Magnum P.I., and S.W.A.T.
