K. Michelle born Kimberly Michelle Pate, is an American singer from Memphis, Tennessee. She would first gain attention with her single “Fakin It” which was released in 2009. It was her appearance on Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta that made her into the star that she is today, and led to her landing a recording contract with Warner Bros. K Michelle’s growing popularity led to her releasing her popular single “VSOP”. Her debut album Rebellious Soul landed at #2 on the Billboard charts, and solidified her as one of the top artists in the industry.
