Singer Kadhja Bonet was born in California, USA. Coming from a musical family Kadhja has always loved music. Kadhja’s father is an opera singer and her mother is also a musician. Kadhja’s father wanted her to be a violinist, but she liked genres like gypsy folk and jazz music more.
The talented singer likes music where she can experiment with a mixture of soul, jazz, classical, and folk music. Kadhja released her debut single Tears for Lamont in 2014. That same year Kadhja participated in the Red Bull Music Academy in Japan. At this academy, Kadhja worked with the producers RJ, from Germany, and Max Maxwell, from Australia.
In 2016, Kadhja released her first mini-album The Visitor, and released a full album Childqueen in 2018.
