The Indie Rock-Folk music quartet from Mosfellsbær, Iceland named Kaleo, a hawaiian word meaning “the Sound” is a melding of mix of blues, folk, country, and rock. Kaleo played at Iceland Airwaves Music Festival in 2012 which gained exposure for the band. The quartet has had several successes including signing with Sena, Iceland’s largest record label, in 2013. With Sena they produced a self-titled album. In 2014 the produced a single ‘All the Pretty Girls’. From that success they went on to sign with Atlantic records, relocating to Austin Texas.. NBC’s Blindspot gave the band nationwide exposure in the United States by featuring the single ‘Way Down We Go’. They also had a song ‘No Good’ on a promo of HBO’s show Vinyl. The record A/B was released in summer 2016.
