Kalimba Bio
Kalimba Kadjhali Marichal Ibar (who’s famously known as Kalimba) is a Mexican singer and songwriter who was born on July 26th 1982 in Mexico. He was born and raised in Mexico with his sister M’balia Marichal.
Kalimba is famously known for his popular albums like 2004’s Aerosoul and 2008’s Mi Otro Yo. His other full length Amar Y Querer (homenaje A Las Grandes Canciones) was released in 2009. He is a well known member of the pop group OV7 which he joined in 1993. As an actor he featured with Zuria Vega in the 2010 film Sin Ella. He also voiced the singing voice of Simba in the Mexican overdub of Disney’s The Lion King. Kalimba appeared on Anna Carina’s 2015 album Sola y bien acompañada.
