Kap-G Bio

Kap-G is a Mexican-American rapper based in Atlanta. Born in the United States, both of his parents immigrated from Mexico. Kap-G’s music career began performing cover songs on his YouTube channel, which has over 120,000 followers, with his most popular videos having garnered over three million views.

Kap-G’s first mixtape, Like A Mexican, was released in March of 2014. It featured “Cocaina Shawty,” and the remix “Tatted Like Amigos,” which features Wiz Khalifa and Kirko Bangz. His first official album, El Southside, was released in 2016. It featured the hit single “Girlfriend,” as well as top streaming tracks “Don’t Need ‘Em,” “Southside,” and “Like El Chapo.” In addition to Wiz Khalifa, Kap-G has worked with numerous big name artists, including: Chief Keef, Jeezy, Young Thug, T.I., David Banner, Pharrell Williams, and Ca$h Out.
