Karen Waldrup Bio
Karen Waldrup, a country singer/songwriter, published her first independent album in 2009. Justified, her first full-length album, was released nearly a decade later to a committed fan following gathered through her hard work. Karen Waldrup, a native of the Mandeville neighborhood of New Orleans, began singing as a child and began playing guitar at the age of 16. She went to the University of Southern Mississippi after high school. She moved to Nashville in 2008 after graduating with a marketing degree to pursue a career in country music. With Love, Karen, Waldrup's debut album, was released in 2009, followed by an eponymous EP in 2010. Her next appearance was on Bravo TV's music competition Platinum Hit, where she spent three weeks, among other performances.
