Director and actor Karena Evans was born on December 17, 1995 in Toronto, Canada. As an actor, she made her debut on a short entitled WhiteWoods, where she played the role of Amy. That year, she also appeared in the movie Delta State: Slipping into the Future, and the TV mini-series The Beaverton Digital. As a director, Evans started out as an intern for Director X, and she worked her way up until she was signed into Popprok, Director X’s company, as a music video director. She has directed music videos for Belly’s Mumble Rap (2017) and The Come Down Is Real Too (2017), Plaza’s Run This (2017), Drake’s God’s Plan (2018), Nice For What (2018), I’m Upset (2018), and In My Feelings (2018), Sir’s D’Evils (2018), Sza’s Garden (Say It Like That) (2018), and Jay Rock’s Tap Out (2018).
