Karol Itzitery Piña Cisneros was born on the 9th of November 9, 1999 in Mexico CIty, Mexico. She is known professionally as Karol Sevilla, and she is a Mexican singer, songwriter, actress and YouTuber. She first rose to fame for playing various roles in the series and soap opera La rosa de Guadalupe. She later gained international attention for playing Luna Valente, the lead character in the Disney Channel Latin America original television series and soap opera, Soy Luna. She has won several awards including Favorite Actress on multiple occasions during the Nickelodeon Mexico Kids Choice Awards, the Nickelodeon Argentina Kids Choice Awards and the Nickelodeon Colombia Kids Choice Awards in both 2017 and 2018.
