Karolina Pliskova Bio
Czech professional tennis player, Karolina Pliskova was born on 21st March 1992 in Monte Carlo, Monaco. In her junior career, she bagged the Australian Open title in 2010. In 2012, she made her senior Grand Slam tournament appearance at the French Open. In the following year, she won her first WTA title at the Malaysian Open when she beat several seeded players. She won her first WTA doubles title with her twin sister. They became the first set of twins to win a doubles title together. 2014 was her breakthrough year when she reached her second WTA tour at Pattaya City. Her incredible gameplay in the season helped her enter the top-50 WTA list. Pliskova has 16 singles WTA Titles and five doubles WTA titles. She also has six doubles and 10 singles ITF titles. In July 2017, she reached the number spot in the WTA rankings and held the position for eight weeks.
