Karyn Parsons is an actress born on 8th October 1966 in Los Angeles, California, United States. She is widely known for portraying Hilary Banks in the television sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". She started her career in 1987, playing the role of Amelia in an episode of the drama television series "The Bronx Zoo". The following year, she appeared in the series "Hunter" and "CBS Summer Playhouse". In the years that followed, she starred in the series "Blossom", "Out All Night", "Gulliver's Travels", "Lush Life", "The Job", and "Static Shock".
Parsons made her film debut in 1989 with the horror film "Death Spa", playing the role of Brooke. In 1992, she was cast as Ellen in the film "Class Act".
